Small Claims Sample Demand Letter

You can use this sample letter to ask your landlord to pay you money they owe you. You must send this letter to your landlord before starting a Small Claims case. 

1. Give the completed letter to your landlord in-person or by mail, and
2. Save a copy for your records. You will need the copy later if you go to Small Claims court.
